PR Consultant For IFFINA 2009
INDONESIAN FURNITURE actually has its own pattern and characteristic that other country doesn't have. In fact, a lot of 'shortcut' is taken by European country to have that special touch of Asian and Indonesian by taking Indonesian artist. But still, they can't match the real Indonesian furniture.
The strength and unique characteristic of Indonesian furniture is becoming the based on why International Furniture & Craft Fair Indonesian (IFFINA) 2009 event is being held. The event will be held in Arena Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) Kemayoran Jakarta, on March 11th - 15th 2009. This is the second event being held after they held the same event on 2008.
The background on why IFFINA is held is the will to develop Indonesian industrial furniture and Handicraft, to introduce the Indonesian furniture and Handicraft to other countries, and to increase the investment and the income of artist or the furniture company itself. At least it is what Sea Tanangga Karim, the Executive Director of Indonesian Industrial Furniture and Handicraft Association or known as Asmindo, thought.
"We dedicate IFFINA as a product display. That means the goal of this show is to portrait the variety of Indonesian industrial furniture and handicraft, from the material to the pattern of the furniture. And it is also the place to promote Indonesian best furniture and handicraft products," he adds.
The big idea is to make IFFINA one of important furniture show in world class level. "We are very curious on getting ‘devisa’ to Indonesia, to think that we keep giving ‘devisa’ to other country when we join their furniture and Handicraft show. So why don't we make our own show here in Indonesia," he adds.
In this chance, `KANOMEDIA` is pointed as `PR Consultant` for IFFINA, who manage publication strategy and promotin via mass media (Print, Electronic, Website).
